Audi intends to test its new design concept on visitors to the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, hoping for feedback from a tech-savvy audience. At a quick glance, the changes in the cabin are not striking: the instrument cluster can operate in two modes, the touchscreens on the ventilation vents are almost invisible, and the refined control dial can only be appreciated in action.

According to the developers, these solutions are intended to radically change the approach to car interior design, making them noticeably more comfortable and easier to use. For instance, the MMI panel offers two display modes. In the standard mode, the driver sees large speedometer and tachometer scales. In the second case, the entire screen is dedicated to the navigation map or the MMI multimedia system menu.
In this layout, the main instruments shrink, giving way to the selected menu item. The MMI control dial has also been redesigned: instead of four keys next to it, only two are installed, which function on the principle of computer mouse buttons.

The climate control, integrated into the air vents, is also unusually designed. Small LCD screens allow setting the temperature for each airflow, as well as adjusting the strength and direction of air supply.
