The special atmosphere of the competition was created by the historical costumes of the archers, representing different peoples and eras, as well as authentic bows made according to ancient recipes. At the tournament in "Kyiv Rus Park", Turkish janissaries, ancient Greeks, followers of English archers, and Japanese samurai came together.

The participants' costumes amazed with their diversity. However, their skill in handling the bow was even more impressive. The archers hit targets from a distance of 30 meters and beyond, struck down "enemy warriors" with arrows, fired from fortress walls and from a cart, and also hit a moving target — a windmill.

Demonstration performances by horse archers, as well as shooting from a chariot, were a vivid spectacle. Archers from Belarus reproduced the techniques of advance and retreat characteristic of real combat operations. Park guests could also try their hand: master classes on horseback archery and Japanese bow shooting were organized for them.
