The car, which the manufacturer describes as "significantly expanded," has received a different front bumper with a refreshed grille, updated head and tail lights, as well as additional chrome elements in the Limited and Limited Platinum trims.

In addition, the 2017 model year SUV received three additional color options: silver - Celestial Silver Metallic, brown - Toasted Walnut Pearl, red - Salsa Red Pearl. The car's interior was equipped with additional USB ports, and brown leather appeared in the upholstery materials.

The restyled Toyota Highlander will be equipped with a new 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with direct fuel injection and a start/stop system. An 8-speed automatic transmission will be used as the transmission.

Prices for the new SUV will be announced in the summer, and it will appear at dealers in the fall.
