The legendary Opel Manta has received an electric powertrain: the motor develops 145 horsepower and 225 Nm of torque. A compact 31 kWh lithium-ion battery allows a range of up to 200 kilometers without recharging. Replenishing the energy reserve takes about four hours.

Interestingly, the engineers decided to keep the manual gearbox with four gears. However, the motor's power is sufficient to drive almost always in the highest gear. Additionally, a regenerative braking system is implemented.

The most noticeable change in the exterior is the front part, made in the current Opel Vizor style. But if, say, the Opel Mokka has just a black insert there, here it is a screen on which an image is displayed. Plus, the hood is painted black, and unique 17-inch wheels are installed.

Inside the Opel Manta GSe ElektroMOD, Alcantara is used, and sports steering wheel and seats are installed. A digital instrument cluster and a large 10-inch touchscreen display are also included in the equipment.
