Like all Lynk&Co models, the newcomer was created with the participation of Volvo specialists, because the Swedish brand has long been part of the Geely concern. The seven-seat Chinese crossover is built on the SPA architecture, that is, it is a close relative of the Volvo XC90.

Although at first glance you wouldn't say so – the five-meter Lynk&Co 09 features an original design with a wide radiator grille and high-mounted LED headlights.

Two hybrid versions debuted first. The mild hybrid is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo four and an electric motor with a total power of 252 hp. The top plug-in hybrid received a 386-horsepower gasoline engine and an 88-horsepower electric motor, with a combined output of 431 hp.
Later, purely gasoline modifications with 218 and 254 hp will also appear. All Lynk&Co 09 models received an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the drive can be front or all-wheel drive.
