At first glance, it is clear that the Mercedes EQB is an electric version of the GLB crossover. Externally, the Mercedes electric car differs from the petrol and diesel versions only in the plug in place of the radiator grille, modified LED headlights and taillights across the full width of the body.
Inside, there are even fewer differences from the Mercedes GLB. The virtual instrument cluster and multimedia touchscreen are grouped together, although their graphics are slightly changed.
Versions of the Mercedes EQB will be offered with 5 and 7 seats. The trunk is slightly smaller than the GLB's: in the five-seat configuration, its volume is 495-1710 liters.
Initially, the top all-wheel-drive version with two motors producing 292 hp and a battery capacity of 66.5 kWh will be offered. It will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 6 seconds and travel 419 km without recharging.
Later, a 240-horsepower modification of the Mercedes EQB and an entry-level 190-horsepower front-wheel-drive version of the crossover, like the Mercedes EQA, will also appear. The electric car also supports fast charging to 80% in just half an hour.
