The new Zeekr brand will focus entirely on producing cars with electric powertrains. The name is simple to decipher: Ze refers to the word Zero (a hint that the brand starts "from scratch"), E stands for electric and evolution, and Kr is the symbol for the chemical element krypton.
The Zeekr 001 model is the production embodiment of the Lynk & Co Zero EV concept shown last year. The exterior is in the signature style of Lynk & Co: a characteristic narrow radiator grille and headlights positioned high.
The car is based on the SEA platform, created specifically for electric models. Dimensions of the large hatchback: length — 4950 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2999 mm.
The Chinese electric car received a pair of electric motors with a total output of 544 horsepower, which allows it to reach the first "hundred" in 4 seconds. The claimed range is impressive — 700 km. The equipment also includes air suspension, which adjusts the ground clearance in the range from 150 to 220 mm.
