The main highlight of the Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance is hidden under the hood. It houses a five-liter naturally aspirated V8, already familiar from the Lexus RC F coupe and LC 500. This high-revving engine produces 472 horsepower at 7100 rpm and develops a torque of 535 N∙m at 4800 rpm.

Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, this Lexus sedan accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. In highway driving mode, it consumes 9.8 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.

The new Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance is equipped with a Torsen limited-slip differential and adaptive suspension. Larger brake mechanisms were also installed: 356 mm on the front axle and 323 mm on the rear.

Interestingly, the exterior of the new model is almost indistinguishable from the Lexus IS with the optional F Sport package. It has the same aerodynamic body kit and spoiler on the trunk lid, but new 19-inch wheels and four exhaust tips at the rear have been added.
Inside, the cabin is upholstered in leather, and aluminum overlays have appeared on the pedals. The Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance also received sport seats and a steering wheel with electric adjustments and heating.
