A Porsche 959 Komfort from a Saudi prince's collection will be offered at a Paris auction in 2027. At the time the catalogue was prepared, the odometer showed only 1,823 km, and the car retains its original engine and gearbox. This is reported by RM Sotheby's.

In the catalogue, the supercar is listed as a 1989 model, although it was built in September 1988. The car was prepared for delivery to France, after which it joined the collection of a member of the Saudi royal family.

According to research by expert Jürgen Barth, only two Porsche 959s received the factory Ruby Red Metallic paint. The offered example is considered the only one in which this colour is combined with a Burgundy Metallic leather interior.

The car was kept in a climate-controlled facility. It belongs to a series of 292 cars in the Komfort specification, which included leather trim and air conditioning.

The Porsche 959 supercar was serviced before the auction

In April 2026, the car was serviced at Porsche Centre Dubai. During the work, the following were replaced:

  • battery and spark plugs;

  • fuel pressure regulator and injectors;

  • tyres with new Michelin Pilot.

At the same time, a Porsche Classic Technical Certificate was issued. The document confirms that the engine and gearbox numbers match the factory data. The lot also includes the owner's manual, tools, warranty book and service invoices.

The Porsche 959 is equipped with a 2.85-litre flat-six engine producing 444 hp. The PSK all-wheel-drive system could direct up to 80% of traction to the rear axle during hard acceleration.
