The new Mitsubishi Outlander 2021 will be radically different from the previous one (the images even show a visual comparison - on top of the car carrier there is a pair of fresh Outlanders, while on the lower tier on the right is the current generation of the model). The new crossover will get a more angular body, and overall it will inherit the styling of the Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer concept car presented at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

The specifications of the Mitsubishi Outlander 2021 are not yet fully known. According to preliminary information, the new crossover will be slightly larger than the current model, and it will be based on a new platform developed by the Renault-Nissan alliance. At the same time, the engine lineup will include a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with 181 hp (paired with a CVT) and a hybrid system based on a 2.4-liter internal combustion engine. The new Outlander hybrid will be able to travel about 70 km on electric power alone.
