On the Ukrainian secondary market, for up to $7,000, models from five brands are available that are not on the list of the most frequently stolen cars in 2025. The statistics by brand were published by the police, but it does not determine the risk for individual models.
Used cars up to $7,000 that are stolen the least
The editorial selection includes cars with manual transmissions, and the prices given are examples from listings.
1. Mitsubishi Colt (2008–2011)

A 2010 Colt with a 1.3 L petrol engine and a manual gearbox is offered for $5,950. When searching, it is important to clarify the transmission type: the model also has automated manual versions.
2. Ford Fusion (2007–2011)

The European Fusion with a 1.4 L petrol engine and a manual gearbox fits within the budget. Among the offers there are 2010 cars for approximately $6,000. This refers to a compact hatchback, not the American sedan of the same name.
3. Fiat Grande Punto (2008–2012)

For a 2010 Grande Punto with a naturally aspirated 1.4 L engine producing 77 hp and a manual gearbox, the asking price is $5,000. Listings also include cars with an installed LPG system.
4. Suzuki Swift (2006–2010)

A 2008 Swift with a 1.3 L petrol engine and a manual gearbox is offered for $5,100. This is one of the compact options that leave part of the budget for maintenance after purchase.
5. Chevrolet Aveo T250 (2008–2011)

A 2011 Aveo sedan with a 1.5 L engine producing 86 hp and a manual gearbox is listed for $5,000. Among the offers there are also 2010 cars with the same powertrain.
“This selection helps narrow down the search within the budget. But the absence of a brand among the theft leaders does not guarantee the car’s safety,” notes the author of the material, Oleksii Astapov.
