The 2021 Nissan Pathfinder retained the platform of its predecessor. The car has become slightly more compact – 5004 mm in length with an unchanged wheelbase of 2900 mm.

The design of the Nissan Pathfinder has changed significantly – smooth lines have been replaced by edges in the spirit of the younger X-Trail/Rogue. The wide radiator grille is combined with arrow-shaped LED headlights.

Inside, a virtual instrument cluster and a head-up display appeared for the first time, and the multimedia touchscreen has been increased to 9 inches in the top version. The compact gearshift joystick draws attention, and under it there is a niche for luggage.

The large Nissan crossover is now available in seven- or eight-seat versions. Even with all seats in place, there remains a 470-liter trunk.

Already in the base version, the 2021 Nissan Pathfinder received the Nissan Safety Shield 360 safety suite, including automatic braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and headlight control. Semi-autonomous driving technology is also available for an additional cost. The options list also includes ventilated seats and three-zone climate control.
Under the hood remains a 3.5-liter 285-horsepower V6, but it is now paired not with a CVT but with a 9-speed automatic transmission. A Nissan Pathfinder hybrid may appear later. Versions with front and all-wheel drive will be offered, with the latter having modes for different types of off-road terrain.
