The Mazda MX-5 Eunos Edition can be recognized by its exclusive Jet Black body color, anthracite ten-spoke alloy wheels, dark soft top, and badges bearing the special edition's name.

The MX-5 Eunos Edition is based on the top-of-the-line roadster trim; the special edition's interior features dark red Nappa leather upholstery on the seats, door panels, and dashboard, reminiscent of the Eunos Roadster from 25 years ago, as well as a Bose audio system with nine speakers.
The Eunos Edition does not include any technical upgrades: under the hood remains the same 132-horsepower 1.5-liter engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Drive is to the rear axle. Mazda was prevented from equipping the special edition with the 184-horsepower 2.0-liter engine by strict European environmental standards.

For Mazda, the Eunos sub-brand was an attempt to follow the example of Japanese brands Toyota and Honda, which created the premium marques Lexus and Acura in the second half of the 1980s. Eunos sub-brand cars were sold on the domestic market from 1989, but the project did not develop and was discontinued in 1996.
Prices for the Mazda MX-5 Eunos Edition have already been announced: the roadster will cost at least 34,600 euros. The production run is limited to 110 units. For comparison, the base MX-5 in France can be purchased for 28,900 euros.
