The new Porsche 911 Turbo S received a 3.8-liter flat-six engine equipped with a pair of turbochargers with variable geometry and a charge air cooling system. The unit's power reaches 650 horsepower, and torque is 800 N·m, which exceeds the previous version's figures by 70 hp and 50 N·m respectively. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch robotic gearbox.

The sports car accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds — 0.2 seconds faster than the previous generation. Acceleration to 200 km/h now takes 8.9 seconds, a full second less than the previous result. The coupe's top speed is capped at 330 km/h.

The refined PTM all-wheel-drive system can direct up to 500 newton-meters of traction to the front axle. Additionally, the model features a new pneumatically actuated front spoiler and an enlarged rear wing, which increased downforce by 15 percent.
