The engine lineup of the Cadillac CT4 includes a two-liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit producing 240 hp and 350 Nm of torque. This engine works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

As an alternative, a more powerful 2.7-liter turbocharged "four" is available, producing 313 hp and 471 newton-meters. The transmission is a 10-speed automatic. Cars are available with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
The list of standard equipment for the model includes a keyless entry system, dual-zone climate control, leather seats, as well as a multimedia complex with an eight-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and an active noise cancellation system in antiphase. Top versions of the sedan have LED optics, light and rain sensors, auto-dimming mirrors, as well as an automatic emergency braking system with pedestrian recognition.

In addition, the Cadillac CT4 can be ordered with the proprietary semi-autonomous driving system Super Cruise, which is currently available only for one Cadillac model — the flagship sedan CT6. The system operates based on a front Lidar radar and a set of cameras providing a surround view. In addition, a GPS navigator and mapping service help with spatial orientation.
The electronics control the steering, accelerator, and braking system when the car is moving on the highway. At the same time, the driver must monitor the road and be ready at any moment to take full control.
