The cars will be sent for service due to the rear lights that do not meet the established requirements.

As inspections showed, the optics produce insufficiently bright light and do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). NHTSA emphasizes that dim lights can be dangerous, increasing the risk of accidents at night or in poor visibility. However, to date, there have been no reports of such incidents.

During the recall campaign, new optics will be installed on the cars. Owners will be sent notifications about the need to visit a service center.
