Judging by the images published by Motor1, the new Juke will generally retain its unique design. The new model will feature narrow front headlights of a characteristic shape, as well as "hidden" rear door handles. The overall dimensions of the crossover are likely to remain unchanged. This is confirmed by Nissan's chief designer Alfonso Albaisa, who stated that the next Juke "will remain true to its charisma."

The new Nissan Juke will be built on the modular CMF-B platform of the Renault–Nissan alliance. It is expected that the engine lineup will include a 1.5-liter diesel, as well as a new one-liter gasoline engine.
