According to British media reports, Land Rover intends to focus its efforts on creating a new generation of vehicles, and the Range Rover SV Coupe project will be closed. The official reasons for deciding to abandon the serial production of the striking three-door SUV, which was supposed to become the most expensive model in the history of the British brand, have not been disclosed.
The conceptual Range Rover SV Coupe was presented in the spring of last year at the Geneva Motor Show. The car was equipped with a five-liter V8 engine producing 565 horsepower and a torque of 700 N·m. It was planned to release a limited series of 999 units. The cost of such an exclusive SUV was supposed to start from 240,000 pounds sterling.
