The sports car has acquired new LED headlights, stylistically repeating the solution of the four-door GT version, and a slightly refined rear end, where the shape of the exhaust pipes has changed.
Inside, a different steering wheel was installed, with two touch zones for multimedia control, a fully virtual instrument panel with a 12.3-inch screen, and a media center display with a diagonal of 10.3 inches.
The list of options for the Mercedes-AMG GT now includes the AMG Track Pace package, which the company has dubbed the "virtual race engineer." The electronics record and process data on the functioning of the car's systems and telemetry at a frequency of ten measurements per second. After analyzing and comparing over 80 different parameters, the computer will tell the driver how to reduce lap time.
Under the hood remains the same four-liter biturbo V8 engine, producing from 475 to 585 horsepower depending on the version. In the most powerful modification, the car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
Also, a new, most rigid modification has appeared — the AMG GT R Pro, created in the spirit of racing cars for the GT3 and GT4 series. The Pro version received a recalibrated stabilization system and suspension with adjustable shock absorbers and anti-roll bars.
In addition, the Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro is equipped with a new aerodynamic body kit, including a modified front splitter, spoiler, and rear wing with aluminum parts.
