The pickup's exterior is designed in line with the further evolution of the Japanese brand's signature design — Dynamic Shield. In particular, the front part of the car's body resembles the new-generation Pajero Sport SUV. The pickup features extended wheel arches, new bumpers, modified headlights, and plenty of chrome details.
Inside, new seats and a different instrument panel are installed. The driver has access to a blind spot monitoring system, parking assist function, and collision prevention system. With the informative screen, you can see a bird's-eye view of the area around the vehicle.

The updated L200 is equipped with a modernized Super Select all-wheel drive system. The driver has access to various Off-Road modes: "gravel," "mud/snow," "sand," and "mountain terrain." The activated Off-Road mode simultaneously adjusts engine power, transmission operation, and brakes to prevent wheel spin.
Also, the restyled model received a new six-speed automatic transmission instead of the previous five-speed one. The pickup is equipped with a modernized braking system with larger discs, as well as new shock absorbers. The company promised that these changes significantly improved the vehicle's driving characteristics. The pickup's engine lineup remains unchanged.
