Currently, this powertrain is already used on the Renault Scenic, Renault Kadjar, as well as on the Mercedes-Benz A-Class.

The engine is offered in two versions: 130 and 150 horsepower. The engines are paired with a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. An all-wheel-drive version is expected to appear approximately in the first half of next year.

The premiere of the second-generation Dacia Duster took place in September 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and its version under the Renault brand was shown to the public two months later.
