The updated i30 has acquired a new 1.6-liter diesel engine, available in three power variants: 100, 120, and 140 horsepower. The power unit is paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic. According to brand representatives, fuel consumption ranges from 3.8 to 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers.
The car's exterior has changed slightly. The restyled version features a front bumper in the style of the i30 Fastback, an expanded range of body colors, and an eight-inch display with an improved multimedia system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The price of the updated car will be announced later.
Earlier, Hyundai showed the hot version of the i30 N. This hot hatch received a two-liter turbocharged engine, offered in two tuning variants, working in conjunction with a six-speed manual gearbox. The junior modification produces 250 hp and 353 Nm of torque, accelerating to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds.
The senior version, with power reaching 275 hp, accelerates to 100 km/h 0.3 seconds faster. In both versions, the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
