Volvo has presented the production version of a fully electric truck named FL Electric.
Volvo FL Electric will become a garbage truck on the roads of Gothenburg. The vehicle's range reaches 300 kilometers. The manufacturer does not disclose the power of the electric motor, but the maximum torque is known — 425 Nm.
The key advantage of the electric powertrain is the almost complete absence of noise, so such a vehicle can be operated at night.
The Swedish company plans to start serial production of the Volvo FL Electric as early as next year.
