The presentation brought no special surprises, as the new RDX, despite its concept car status, was almost fully declassified this past winter in Detroit.

The crossover has significantly grown in length – from 4685 mm to 4747, but has become slightly lower – 1669 mm instead of 1680. The wheelbase has increased to 2751 mm (+66). The trunk volume is 835 liters.
The interior is completely identical to the "concept." The main innovations of the cabin are the 10-inch display of the Acura True Touchpad media center, an impressive center console, and higher quality trim materials.

Under the hood of the "third" RDX, a two-liter turbocharged i-VTEC engine appeared, with a power of 276 hp and a torque of 380 Nm. A new 10-speed automatic transmission works in tandem with the engine. In addition, the crossover has been returned its proprietary SH-AWD all-wheel drive system.

The new generation Acura RDX will be produced at a plant in Ohio. Sales are scheduled to start in the summer, but prices have not yet been announced.
