The CDX model appeared in Acura's lineup in 2016 and was developed specifically for the Chinese market. The crossover is built on the basis of the Honda HR-V and is still offered with only two powertrain options: a 1.5 turbo engine with 182 hp and an i-MMD hybrid with 215 hp.

The main difference of the updated CDX is not in the technology, but in the special "sporty" A-Spec version, familiar from other Acura models. This modification stands out exclusively with decor and original 18-inch wheels. No "sport" was added to the technology.

The Acura CDX A-Spec is primarily aimed at young people, who should increase the popularity of the model, whose sales noticeably declined last year.
