The Cherokee has shed its split headlights, gaining new bumpers and a tailgate, as well as revised taillights.

Inside, there are virtually no changes; one can only note a slightly different design of the instrument panel and a less bright trim around the automatic gear selector.

The manufacturer did not share details about the technical modernization of the model, but did reveal photos of the special off-road Trailhawk version.

All details will be revealed on the eve of the official presentation of the updated Jeep Cherokee crossover at the January auto show in Detroit.
