The two-liter engine of the Ingenium series was detuned to 290 hp (-10 hp) for the crossovers, but it still turned out to be the most powerful in the model lineup.

The Land Rover Discovery Sport with the new powertrain will be available in the Dynamic trim, which features more aggressive bumpers, enlarged air intakes, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Acceleration to 100 km/h will take the 290-horsepower Range Rover Evoque just 6 seconds, while the similar Discovery Sport will take half a second longer.
