The company is preparing to launch a crossover that will be named Expander. Its premiere is scheduled for the end of summer at the Indonesian auto show. It was there a year earlier that the XM concept, which became the basis for the production version, was shown to the public.
The car is expected to be equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an output of 120 horsepower. The gearbox is only a CVT. There is no information about other possible engines at the moment.
Assembly of the new model will be organized at the Mitsubishi plant in Indonesia.
