The electric version of the Partner commercial van hit the market five years ago, but a similar version of the passenger Tepee has only recently been introduced.
Under the hood of the Partner Tepee Electric is an electric motor with 67 horsepower, powered by batteries with a capacity of 22.5 kWh. The new model has a modest range — no more than 170 kilometers.
A full charge from a household outlet will take from 8 to 15 hours, but using a CHAdeMO connector connected to a direct current source, the batteries can be replenished to 80% in just half an hour.
The price for the Partner Tepee Electric has not yet been announced — for comparison, the electric version of the cargo van is priced at 25 thousand euros.
