Toyota has been forced to recall all produced hydrogen-powered Mirai vehicles due to electronics issues in the engine.
In the hydrogen power plant, malfunctions related to voltage were detected, which manifest themselves when the accelerator is pressed vigorously. To fix the defect, it will be necessary to reflash the engine control controller.
The recall campaign will cover all 2,843 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles that have rolled off the assembly line since production began in 2014.
The Mirai model was not officially supplied to the Ukrainian market.
