Swedish engineers decided to hide the exterior of the new XC60 under plastic panels rather than traditional camouflage film. Despite all the tricks, the resemblance to the XC90 model is still striking. The dimensions of the crossover, apparently, will remain almost unchanged, as will its silhouette.
In addition to the design, the new model will borrow the SPA modular architecture from the XC90, and also, likely, some of the powertrains from the Drive-E family. The debut of the XC60 is scheduled for next year.
