Specially for journalists and clients, a test drive of the Jaguar F-Pace and other new models of the British brand was organized at Terminal F of Boryspil Airport. But, of course, the star of the event was the long-awaited crossover, which not only looks like a real Jaguar but also has handling in the spirit of the brand's models.

The new F-PACE combines the purity of lines and proportions inherent in the F-TYPE model. The expressive radiator grille and hood indicate power and character, while details such as elegant LED headlights, 22-inch alloy wheels, and a short front overhang bring to life the design innovations of the C-X17 concept. The lightweight but strong body structure is 80 percent aluminum and is the only fully aluminum monocoque construction in this segment.

High torsional rigidity of the body ensures optimal functioning of the front suspension with double wishbones and the Integral Link rear suspension. Thanks to the Torque Vectoring system for dynamic torque distribution to the wheels and an electric power steering system, the all-new F-PACE sets new standards of handling and ride smoothness.

The all-wheel drive (AWD) system with torque transfer of the new F-PACE is the most advanced of the systems developed by Jaguar to date. The car features an advanced control system developed specifically for the AWD system of the F-TYPE model - Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD). The IDD system retains the agility and handling of rear-wheel drive, and it smoothly transfers torque to the front wheels, providing the benefits of additional traction on any surface and in any weather.

The Adaptive Surface Response (ASR) function, developed based on Land Rover's award-winning patented Terrain Response surface recognition technology, makes the AWD system even more effective when driving in extreme conditions. ASR technology, integrated into the Jaguar Drive Control system, allows identifying the surface type and optimizing engine and transmission settings and the dynamic stability control system. The ASR system, first introduced on the new XF, has been improved and now has a third mode designed for driving on deep snow and gravel surfaces.
Another world-class technology developed specifically for adverse road conditions is the All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) system for low-speed driving on slippery surfaces. For drivers who want to achieve the same results but still want to press the accelerator pedal, the Low-Friction Launch (LFL) technology will be useful. This function provides progressive throttle settings and facilitates vehicle control.

The all-new F-PACE meets the strictest international safety standards and features an exceptional level of protection for passengers and pedestrians. Active safety standards are ensured by a range of advanced driver assistance systems. The state-of-the-art stereoscopic camera at the core of the Autonomous Emergency Braking system is now also equipped with a pedestrian detector - a first in Jaguar vehicles. The stereoscopic camera also supports the Lane Departure Warning system, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, as well as an intelligent speed limiter and driver condition monitoring.

The new F-PACE saw the world debut of the Jaguar Activity Key technology. A waterproof, shock-resistant bracelet with a built-in transmitter, the first in its segment, will be useful for people with an active lifestyle, as with it the key fob can remain in the car - a very convenient option if you plan to go surfing or kayaking. When locking your F-PACE with the Activity Key bracelet, you will disable the keys left inside the car.
The entertainment system and communication technologies are the most advanced in the industry. The premium InControl Touch Pro system is built around a 10.2-inch touchscreen with a powerful dual-core processor and a hard drive. Up to 8 devices can be connected simultaneously to the super-fast Wi-Fi hotspot.

For the Ukrainian consumer, the Jaguar F-PACE will be available in Pure and Prestige trims with a 2.0-liter 180-horsepower diesel engine Ingenium, in the S trim with a 3.0-liter diesel producing 300 hp, in Pure, Prestige, Portfolio, and R-Sport trims with a 3.0-liter 340-horsepower V6 Supercharged petrol engine, and in the S trim with a powerful 3.0-liter 380-horsepower petrol unit. All cars are equipped with an all-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The all-new F-PACE, under the sculpted aluminum hood of which a V6 Supercharged petrol engine (380 hp) is installed, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds and can reach a maximum of 250 km/h.
