During test trials of the new model, photo spies looked into the cabin. It turned out, judging by the prototype, the S90 will get an interior in the style of the XC90 crossover.
Except for different air ducts and some trim elements, the sedan's interior has the same steering wheel and central screen. The dashboard is also not much different.
According to preliminary data, the Swedish sedan will get an exterior in the spirit of the Volvo Concept Universe. There is information that the engine range will be represented by four-cylinder motors of the Drive-E line: two petrol (254 hp and 320 hp) and two diesel (190 hp and 225 hp), like the Volvo XC90.
The key sales markets for the new flagship will be the USA and China. Among competitors are: BMW 5-Series, Audi A6 and Jaguar XF.
