In the European market, the new Honda HR-V will be offered with two powertrain options. For the Old World, the crossover has been prepared with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine (i-VTEC) and a 1.6-liter diesel (i-DTEC). The gasoline unit develops 130 horsepower. In the combined cycle, it consumes 5.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, and CO2 emissions do not exceed 120 grams per kilometer. With a manual gearbox, such an engine accelerates the SUV to 100 km/h in 10.3 seconds, while if you choose the CVT, it will take 10.9 seconds.

The diesel version, in turn, produces 120 horsepower. The declared fuel consumption for such an engine is 4 liters per 100 kilometers. The carbon dioxide emission level is 104 grams per kilometer. The power of this engine is enough for the car to reach 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds.
