Cars produced at the joint Israeli-Chinese enterprise are currently being introduced to the European market. These are the 3 Hatch and 3 Sedan models. It should be noted that this is an absolutely safe car according to Euro NCAP in 2013.
The release of the crossover is a new step for the joint venture.
Technical specifications are not yet known, but since it is based on the 3 Hatch, it will most likely be equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 124 hp (94 kW). A turbocharged version of the same engine with 154 hp (115 kW) is also possible. Both will likely be paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission.
