Earlier we already reported that LUKoil got rid of its filling stations in Ukraine. Now a new step has become known — the company has agreed with MOL Plc. and Norm Benzinkut Kft. on the transfer of assets in three European countries. This information was disseminated by Interfax.
The structure of the deal looks like this: the Czech 44 LUKoil filling stations come under the control of Slovnaft Ceska Republica, Spol. S.R.O., which is a structure subordinate to MOL Plc.
As for the remaining assets, 75 stations located in Hungary and 19 stations in Slovakia are being acquired by Norm Benzinkut Kft.
According to available data, all these operations are planned to be closed before the coming year. The question arises: does this mean that the Russian oil concern has nevertheless decided to completely wind down its activities in the European market?
