The electric version is built on the platform of the Beat model. In China, the car is already on sale and is used by government agencies.

Under the hood, there is an electric motor with a power of 54 horsepower, powered by lithium-ion batteries. The maximum speed is limited to 120 km/h. The range without recharging for the Chery M1 EV is 150 kilometers.

Among the interesting solutions is the energy recovery system during braking: at that moment, the electric motors switch to generator mode.

A full charge of the batteries from a standard household outlet takes from six to eight hours, while an eighty percent charge using a special station will require only half an hour.
