As reported by the Facebook community "Wateri Ukrainy", the police stopped a driver under the influence of alcohol. During the inspection, it turned out that he also did not have a driver's license – it had previously been confiscated also for drunk driving.

As a result, two articles were applied to the motorist at once - 126 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses and Part 3 of Article 130 (for driving a vehicle by a person who was deprived of the right to drive, plus for driving a vehicle while intoxicated without a driver's license). According to the new law, a violation under the first article is now punishable by a fine of 20,400 UAH, and under the second – 51,000 UAH.

In addition, the driver also faces deprivation of the right to drive for another 10 years and confiscation of the car. However, the final fate of the violator will be decided by the court.
