On the eve of the New Year holidays, the government published resolution number 1118, which establishes new rules for the sale of used vehicles by legal entities after the abolition of reference invoices. As AUTO-Consulting reports, car dealerships now have the right to issue sales contracts without their mandatory certification by service center administrators. This applies not only to new cars, but also to imported used cars upon their first registration.
Until this moment, after the abolition of reference invoices, legal entities actually did not have the opportunity to sell used cars that were registered for the first time.
It is also worth adding that from January 1, 2016, the import of cars that do not meet the Euro-5 environmental standard, which has been in effect in Europe since September 2009, is prohibited into the territory of Ukraine. Because of this, certain models fell out of sale, most of which are Chinese cars. As a result, ZAZ also had to adjust its model range, from which two versions will disappear. As for the Sens model with a Ukrainian engine, it is planned to be refined to meet the new requirements.
