Today, May 20, the Verkhovna Rada voted in the second reading on bill No. 4785 of April 28, 2014, "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Improvement of Defense and Mobilization Issues During Mobilization."

In fact, this means that Ukraine has legalized the "temporary seizure" of vehicles, regardless of the type, make, and cost of the car.

"The acceptance and transfer of vehicles involved during mobilization and their return after the announcement of demobilization are carried out on the basis of acceptance and transfer acts, which specify information about the owners, technical condition, book value, and other necessary information allowing identification of the vehicle. The return of vehicles to the owner is carried out within 90 calendar days from the moment of the announcement of demobilization. The procedure for compensation for damage caused to vehicles as a result of their involvement during mobilization is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers," the document says.

Authorizing the mobilization of cars means that when registering a new vehicle, deregistering, or re-registering, you will need to obtain a mark from the military enlistment office. But at the moment, it is not entirely clear on which document such a mark should be.
