Now traffic police inspectors are not only relieved of the duty, but also deprived of the right to activate flashing beacons during patrols on highways without necessity.
Previously, the situation was the opposite — going out on patrol without the blue signals turned on was considered a violation.
The updated regulations also hint that State Traffic Inspectorate employees are entitled to use devices that have not passed mandatory certification under the law. In addition, the changes also affected impound lots: if earlier they could be exclusively under state control (namely, under the departments of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), now this restriction has been lifted. At least, the new version of the document no longer mentions the affiliation of such lots to the State Traffic Inspectorate.
