As foreign media report, the incident occurred on April 27 on one of the highways in Taiwan. The Lamborghini ignited and burned down in a matter of minutes. The 29-year-old owner of the Urus tried to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher, but it was too late – all that was left of the Lambo was a pile of metal and melted plastic.

The owner of the crossover had no idea what caused the fire, but a subsequent examination showed that the cause was a short circuit due to design flaws. The local fire department told Taiwan News that “there was some short circuit in the right rear part of the car, after which the fire spread to the fuel tank.”
