Such an interesting experiment was decided to conduct by bloggers from the German YouTube channel TopSpeedGermany. They constantly reach maximum speed on the most different cars, but a 60-ton truck crane was tested for the first time.
The Tadano Faun ATF 220G-5 is equipped with a 15-liter Mercedes-Benz turbodiesel with 530 hp. Of course, its top speed is limited and it cannot go faster than 90 km/h. But even to this speed, it still needs to accelerate.
However, this turned out to be not so difficult – if not for the limiter, the Tadano Faun ATF 220G-5 could have gone faster. Moreover, at 90 km/h the truck crane remains controllable and it is not difficult to drive.
