Interestingly, the history of the KIA KM-450 essentially began during the Vietnam War and is even closely connected to those events. The fact is that the Korean SUV is a licensed copy of the American Kaiser Jeep M715, which was produced for the needs of the US Army in 1967-1969. A total of 33 thousand such vehicles were produced, mainly used as tractors for artillery mounts and mortars.
