The modified car was named Soul EV Boardmasters Edition – in honor of the Boardmasters 2021 surfing and music festival (the event will take place in Cornwall, England). The SUV got this name for a reason: it was created specifically for surfers – people who enjoy riding special boards on sea waves.

Compared to the regular Soul, the special vehicle features increased ground clearance (310 mm at the front and 320 mm at the rear, previously it was 153 mm), a widened track (110 mm at the front and 115 mm at the rear), large arches with plastic protection, and 16-inch white steel wheels shod with 30-inch Maxxis Bighorn tires. In addition, the electric car received a roof rack for two surfboards, the boards themselves (Tahe Bic Malibu), as well as additional LED lights and a solar panel that powers a mini-fridge via an auxiliary battery. The body is painted in an exclusive Neptune Blue metallic.

Inside the Soul EV Boardmasters Edition, the rear seats were removed – instead, a cargo area lined with spruce appeared. The wooden flooring serves not only a decorative role but also a practical one – it protects the interior from moisture and fine sand particles. A fold-down bench was also installed in the rear – for gatherings with company.

The technical underpinnings remained unchanged. The electric car is still equipped with a 204 hp motor and 395 Nm, as well as a 64 kWh battery. The equipment list includes a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, as well as a Harman-Kardon stereo system with 10 speakers.
