This was reported by the director of "BAS Motor" Oleg Mishchenko during the conference "Electric Ukraine" in Odesa. According to him, at the first stage, the Chinese electric bus GTZ6129BEVR will be delivered to Ukraine for testing.
Then, assembly of buses from SKD/CKD kits is planned at the facilities of "BAS Motor". By the way, Chinese electric buses have recently already entered the Hungarian market.
The GTZ6129BEVR bus reaches 12 m in length, and its interior is designed for 30 seated and 51 standing places. The maximum speed is 70 km/h. The LiFePo4 battery with 299.5 kWh provides a range of 250 km.
The electric bus is equipped with air conditioning and an autonomous heating system. It features Kenway axles, Bosch steering, Dana electric motor, as well as ABS and ASR. The body is made of aluminum.
