However, we are talking about those cars that were presented in Ukraine before, only under a different brand – Ravon. As before, the cars are produced by the Uzbek enterprise UzAuto Motors, the differences lie only, in fact, in the logos.

As stated in the press service of the official importer of Uzbek Chevrolets, Ravon Motors Ukraine, three budget models will be presented in Ukraine – the A-Class hatchback Chevrolet Spark (aka Ravon R2), as well as B-Class sedans Chevrolet Cobalt and Chevrolet Nexia (formerly Ravon R4 and Ravon Nexia R3; the latter, by the way, is a restyled Chevrolet Aveo T250 with more modern units).

The following versions of the cars are announced (plus prices):

  • Chevrolet Spark: petrol 1.25, 85 hp, 4AT, price – from 297 thousand UAH (10,950 dollars);
  • Chevrolet Cobalt: petrol 1.5, 106 hp, 5MT or 6AT, price – from 314.4 thousand UAH (12,000 dollars);
  • Chevrolet Nexia: petrol 1.5, 106 hp, 5MT or 6AT, price – 311 thousand UAH (11,470 dollars).

As you can see, the Chevrolet brand will indeed take aim at the segment of affordable cars (where Renault Logan and Sandero dominate) and one of the "chips" of the cars should be "automatic for little money". Actually, the models under the Ravon brand had the same feature, but, apparently, in Ukraine they decided to "rename" the cars, since the Chevrolet brand is more well-known and, accordingly, has great authority in the market.
