In the import structure, used electric vehicles still dominate — 47.6 thousand cars, which is 62% more than last year's figures. At the same time, 14.1 thousand new electric cars were imported, with growth in this segment amounting to 26%. In monetary terms, new cars amounted to $363.5 million, while used ones reached $906.3 million. Ukrainians still prefer cheaper electric vehicles from the secondary market.

As for the geography of supplies, clear trends are emerging. In the segment of new electric vehicles, China remains the undisputed leader, accounting for 92% of all supplies. It is followed by Japan with 3% and Germany with 2%. As for used electric cars, the main suppliers are the USA — 40% of all imports. Korea provided 16% of supplies, and Germany — 15%.

Electric vehicles in Ukraine have long ceased to be a novelty — they are becoming an everyday means of transport. Given the growing demand, expanding supply, and the traditionally lively autumn period, the market may well set another record in the near future.
