However, there is also positive news: compared to the results of the second quarter, Ukraine managed to move up one spot, returning from the 23rd position.
During the reporting period, 54.2 thousand new passenger cars were sold in our country. This places the domestic market between Croatia and Finland, which swapped places in terms of sales this year. Despite the difficult wartime conditions and supply difficulties, the country's car fleet continues to gradually renew, although the pace of this process remains moderate.
The overall sales dynamics in Ukraine for the nine months of this year amounted to minus 0.3%. Notably, the same decline was recorded by the largest automotive market in Europe — Germany. Thus, even the leading markets of the continent are feeling the pressure of general economic circumstances, and the Ukrainian situation fully corresponds to general European trends.
