The largest number of cars was sold in Germany — 1.39 million units. France took second place with 922 thousand, followed by the UK (910 thousand) and Italy (884 thousand). Among automakers, Volkswagen holds the lead, having sold 1,698,787 cars, followed by Stellantis (1,378,773) and Renault (561,710).

In the brand ranking, Volkswagen maintains its leadership — 733,846 people chose its cars. Next are Peugeot with 423,374 cars sold and Toyota, whose figure amounted to 386,236 units.

Lada showed the worst result: only 741 such cars were sold during the year, which is 35% less than in 2020. This is even lower than the figures of Ferrari and Lamborghini. The sports car manufacturer Alpine fared slightly better — 903 cars sold.
